Biography
Mrs. Bush is actively involved in issues of national and global importance, with a particular emphasis on literacy, health care, and human rights. A former teacher and librarian, Mrs. Bush is an enthusiastic proponent of teacher recruitment programs, and is an advocate for literacy, both in the United States and abroad.
