College Share Program
College Share was founded to help college-bound high school students with learning differences, their parents, and interested professionals gather information to prepare for a successful college experience.
Each year different speakers are invited to present topics such as:
- choosing the right college;
- legal rights for students with disabilities;
- services and programs available for students with disabilities;
- accommodations; and
- alternatives to a four-year college.
DVDs of previous programs are available in the Collie Library at
Neuhaus. See the
calendar for dates, topics, and registration.
College Panel
College Panel is a popular annual event sponsored in conjunction with The Briarwood School and The Houston Branch of The International Dyslexia Association (HBIDA). Current college students with diagnosed learning difficulties share their experiences and strategies for college success in a moderated panel discussion.
