Mark Seidenberg is an internationally renowned cognitive scientist, professor of research and psychology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and a Senior Scientist at Haskins Laboratories. He is a specialist in psycholinguistics whose research addresses the nature of skilled reading, how children learn to read, the brain bases of reading and dyslexia, and how the science of reading can contribute to improved educational performance. 

Seidenberg is the author of critically-acclaimed Language at the Speed of Sight, as well as over one hundred scientific articles. He was recently honored as one of the 250 most-cited researchers in the areas of psychology and psychiatry.
