In Language & Literacy for Young Learners – Kit 1, participants learn: 1) the importance of the prerequisite literacy skills; 2) activities that enhance the prerequisite skills in a language-rich context; and 3) plan instruction using a variety of visual and manipulative aids.

The Language Enrichment Review class is a refresher for those who have previously taken Language Enrichment or Language Enrichment On Demand. The class provides review and practice led by Neuhaus instructors.

In Reading Readiness, participants learn: 1) the foundational skills that are necessary to become fluent readers and accurate spellers; 2) hands-on, multisensory activities to teach and reinforce these skills; 3) strategies for building instant recognition of words with reliable and unexpected pronunciations; and 4) the importance of explicit and systematic handwriting instruction to spelling and writing.
