In Language and Literacy for Young Learners: Kit 2, participants learn:

1) Activities that enhance the prerequisite skills in a language-rich context;
2) Activities that advance students understanding of letter-sound relationships;
3) Activities to help students form letters for writing; and
4) Plans for instruction using a variety of visual and manipulative aids.
